It’s the Sew, Mama, Sew Giveaway Day!
Welcome to my little sewing blogging world. If you come here for the first time, here is a little about me:
My name is Lucy. I live in a town near north Houston, Texas with my 3-year-old son and husband. I discovered the fun of sewing about two years ago and now it’s more than a hobby to me. Most of the time I make clothing, especially kids clothing. I’m new to quilting and enjoy it very much so far.
This is my first time participate in Sew, Mama, Sew Giveaway Day, and I’d like to share the love of fabrics!
They are 4 fat quarters (18″ x 22″) of Artisan Batiks by Robert Kaufman, and a mini charm pack (2.5″ x 2.5″) of Chateau Rouge by French General for Moda.

I’m from central Illinois – middle of the midwest, surrounded by corn and soybean country. I’m only a bit more than a year into my sewing/quilting and I’d do it all the time if I could. I have plans to make lots of different things but I am almost finished with my first quilt and enjoying learning different quilt blocks.
