Soccer ball, scrap sewing from stash.

23 May

I bet every sewist has at least one basket of scrap fabrics which he/she has collected through various sewing or craft projects. I also deconstruct kid’s or adult’s clothes thinking one day I will be able to re-use these small scraps. So when I found this soccer ball tutorial over at Clover Japan website long time ago, it was added onto my to-do list right away!

The tutorial is written in Japanese, but I think that the illustrations make it easy to follow even if you don’t understand the language.  To me, the difficult part is to sew together all the pieces at all sides. I am not quite a quilter yet 🙂

He liked his new toy very much! It’s totally worth the work when I see his smiles. I’m very happy to use part of my stash too!
