I think I have probably said one hundred times of “I want to make a quilt”. I love browsing the web and admiring the wonderful quilts work by all those amazing quilters. But the idea of cutting into my nice fabrics just intimidates me.
I bought a Scoot fat quarter bundle by Riley Blake on Christmas, and luckily Riley Blake Design is having a Mystery Block Quilt-Along this year! So I joined the group and hopefully I can make a nice quilts for my boy by the end of the year!
Here is my work so far for the January Chevron block.
My pick of color for this block is cream, yellow, and blue. Next thing to do is to square all these blocks into 2.5″ x 2.5″, and then sew them up into chevron….. Wish me luck!
